I've owned the Vivoactive 3 since Christmas, and had (well, still have) the Vivoactive before that. The firmware was definitely rather buggy for a while; I don't know how Garmin shares their code bases but the same types of issues seem to happen with every new device. KGMess over 4 years ago. Since wearing it she have developed a burn patch area on her arm under the optical sensor. I have photos and her doctor has indicated that the skin is damaged. The skin damage is in a rectangle shape directly under the area where the Is the vivoactive3 as bad as everyone says. I was going to pick one of these up but it has so many bad user reviews about battery length and other things. The VA3 it's my 3rd Garmin watch (Vivo Active 2 HR, Forerunner 235 HR and now VA3) In all of my runs, my HR graph is someting like this: Average bpm: 192. Max: 205. Average bpm: 190. Max 209 bpm. At 1km /1.5km the heart line shoots up but i feel normal only one day in 2 runs, the chart was normal with VivoActive 2 HR: With prices starting at £240 for the S variant and £260 for the regular smartwatch, the Vivoactive 4 costs around £100 more than the Vivoactive 3, which is now available for just £150.
